Apple Has just announced it’s second generation HomePod which they have touted as “a powerful smart speaker” that will deliver “next-level acoustics” and comes with a new sleek design, and will be available to order online and within the Apple Store ahead of it’s availability on February 3rd.
“Leveraging our audio expertise and innovations, the new HomePod delivers rich, deep bass, natural mid-range, and clear, detailed highs,” Greg Joswiak, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Apple said in an official release. “With the popularity of the HomePod mini, we’ve seen growing interest in even more powerful acoustics achievable in a larger HomePod. We’re thrilled to bring the next generation of HomePod to customers around the world.”
The new release features a “custom-engineered high-excursion woofer, powerful motor that drives the diaphragm a remarkable 20mm, built-in bass-EQ mic, and beamforming array of five tweeters around the base,” which all work collectively for a powerful acoustic experience.
